Dear Sam,
Today we made some corn fritters. We got the idea from Kai 5. First we got all of the ingredients and then we mixed it together. Next we put the food in the frying pan. Finally I cut the tomatoes, William cut the avocado and mum flipped the fritters. Then we ate it. They tasted like pizza and i would like to make them again.

Alex has also been doing writing with his auntie from England. One activity he did was turn the tale of the Three Blind Mice into a news report! Here it is:
Earlier today there was a serious incident. In nursery rhyme land three blind mice were following a farmer. They were brothers and they were all the same age. Their names were Marmite, Mickey and Moo moo. They all had ran after the farmer's wife who had some cheese. Then she cut off the tails with a carving knife. We'll bring you more on that story as we receive it.

Tyson has been cooking, renovating, playing, building forts and lots of games. He has also shared some amazing writing, and a video of an obstacle course that goes all the way around his house!

Tyson, the obstacle course you made sounds like fun, did you get your mum and dad to do the course?

Maddy, that volcano looks incredible, it must have taken a lot of work to build the volcano before you could carry out the science experiment, I think you have shown great manawanuiatanga.
Nice jobs kids. You have given me some great ideas, I think we will try and make our own obstacle course at home. Keep those recipes coming, Alex. The volcano looks amazing, Maddy.
