These two girls were the certificate winners at our latest Puriri assembly. Finley is a thoughtful and organised learner, while Joyce is an excellent role model with her behaviour and her willingness to help classmates.

What a great start to the year by these two - Theoden and Jake have contributed some excellent ideas to their thinking groups in Room 6 - and have also been good listeners to others.

Ronan has made an excellent start to his second year in Room 6 - as you can see from the certificate - he has been organised for his learning every day, and has been a great role model for all the new children in class!

Room 6 in the Library

Wednesday is library day in Room 6. We are so lucky at Owairaka to have a beautiful and well resourced library. 

We have been learning how to behave when we visit, and what the proper rules are to look after our books. We want to keep them looking fresh for all the other children we go to school with.
