Hens on Holiday

Thanks to the super Ms Johns (our lovely ESOL specialist at Owairaka) who has very kindly offered her home to our four school chickens over the Christmas holiday.

Room 6 can't wait to have our girls back in school next year.

Caught Being Good: Taito and Ava

Well done on a great year to these two.

Taito always has excellent manners, and lately has made great improvements with maths, especially with remembering times tables.

Ava gets her award for being a helpful and supportive classmate (and friend) to everyone she works with.

Farhan - super listening in class this term. We know you are listening because you can respond to questions with your thoughts and answers.

Well done Lucas for an excellent two years. You have great manners every morning and are thoughtful in learning time!

Terrific Tiffany!

We have been reading the "Big Friendly Giant" by Roald Dahl in class. Tiffany shows she is an excellent listener by looking for interesting similes, and making great predictions about what might happen in the rest of the story!

She was also an enthusiastic performer in the Niuean Cultural group. 

Nice one Tiffany, a super role model for the rest of us!
