Room 19 Children share their Learning

Thanks Maddy for sharing your awesome origami fish scene. You added creativity and made your scene come to life!

Kia Ora,
We have explored our own backyard at Owairaka mountain after lunch times this week. We have been building our hut and even discovered an already built hut. Today I spotted a weta whilst climbing! It was very well camouflaged.
Have you seen a weta in real life?

  1. Stunning work Maddy. I love the way you have used natural materials to add detail. You should check out Room 18 and Room 17 blogs for more origami fish!

  2. Hi Lilou
We often have Weta's at our place because our cat brings them inside! It was great that you could see a weta in it's natural environment. I wonder why it was out in the daytime?
