Room 19 is about to begin 21 days of learning, thinking, and creating to find out more about we can be kaitiaki the Hauraki Gulf Marine Park.
Hopefully we will be able to complete most of our learning in class, however in the meantime, you can access the first two days of learning by clicking the image below.
We aim to find out more about the marine taonga of Auckland - the Hauraki Gulf, as well as build an understanding of the importance of the ocean to many people in various ways.
We are all kaitiaki!
Note - talking through these activities will be the subject of our "Google Meets" over the next two days.
Steve and Riley are such great ambassadors for our moana and the creatures that live in them. I hope we can all do our bit over these 21 days by picking up at least one piece of plastic rubbish a day.
