This week, Room 19 visited the school gardens and kitchen, to take part in our first Garden to Table (G2T) lesson.
Mexican was on the menu, and we had a great time preparing four tasty dishes for our classmates to enjoy.
The gardeners had a 'tour' of the gardens, where we learnt to identify different flowers, herbs, and vegetables.

Kia ora Room 19, it looks like you had a super start at Garden to Table this week. Fantastic photos Sam - ka pai! Fun fact: There are 5,500 known species of worms. (Keep a eye out for some when you are digging in the garden or compost!)
