Our KANBAN experiment... here we go!

Today is Day 2 of Room 6's journey into using a Kanban board to help us work through our weekly literacy activities.

Kanban is a Japanese system, which visually shows what learning activities need to be started, what learning activities are underway, and what ones have been completed.

Each reading group has their own activities that they need to get done, and at the end of the day they can reflect on how much they have achieved, and what their next steps are.

Here is a photo of our board on Day 1...

  1. Hi Room 6. Your new reading system looks really exciting. I can't wait to come into your room and watch it in action. I love the way it shows you what you need to do next so you can be independent learners during reading time. How did you decide on the awesome group names? From Miss Green.
