Superhero Animals - Police Dogs visit

Week 9 of this term was another exciting one for our 'Superhero' theme at school.

We had a visit from some superhero animals (and their handlers) in our community, the police dogs. These incredible animals help to keep us all safe. We were very impressed with their discipline and the speed with which they could move across the ground!

Thanks to the NZ Police for taking the time to visit us again.

School Certificate - Kalo and Freddie

Our first school assembly in over two years was a pretty special event this week. It was great to be back together and listen to Sheryl remind us of our two school rules - be SAFE and be KIND.

Kalo and Freddie received certificates for their outstanding contributions to Room 19 this term. Well done guys, excellent work!

We go to Te Reo Maori lessons every three weeks with Whaea Kristie. Over the last few weeks we have been learning to name emotions and classroom objects in Te Reo Maori.
