Superhero and Tabloids Day!
Superhero Thursday was a great success. Check out a few photos of our time above. Room 19 children dressed as everyday superheroes, action heroes, and our chosen colour red.
We spent the afternoon outdoors doing a 'tabloids day' with the coaches from Kelly Sports, learning a whole lot of new games!
Thanks to Mrs Mudgway for organising a great day.

Everyday Superheroes - Dress Up Day!
This Thursday we have a special dress up day at school. Teachers and students can come dressed as any sort of superhero. Remember that not all superheroes wear capes and not all superheroes come from comics or are Marvel characters. Use your imagination, get involved and have fun!
Room 19 children have discussed wearing the colour RED if they don't want to wear a costume.

Kindness is a Superpower!
To start our inquiry topic, we will think about being superheroes ourselves. We know being kind is a superpower, so to begin the term, our key focus is Manaakitanga. Here are some key questions for us to focus on:
- How can we show respect to other learners?
- How can we use kind words?
- How can help others in the playground?
