School Certificate - Gyzharn and Jennia

Batfirst Cricket - A new skill for Year 3!
Room 19 and the Year 3 team had the opportunity to have a lesson from Auckland Cricket during our second week at school.
We learnt some new skills, and we each got a shiny new purple bat to take home to practise with!

In Our Backyard - Topic Learning in Term One
Nau mai haere mai, welcome to the 2021 school year!
Our theme at school for this year is 'Ín Our Backyard'. All classes at Owairaka will decide where to go with this big idea!
We will begin with a social focus on how we fit in to, and contribute to the various communities in our lives, from our whanau, to our class, school, local area, city, nation and the Pacific.
