Learning from Home - Week 6
Well done to those who have completed learning activities over the past week.
Here is a new story for you to read and enjoy.
In Māori culture, a rāhui is a form of tapu restricting access to, or use of, an area or resource to help protect it.
There is a rāhui in place in the Waitakere Ranges at the moment to help protect Kauri trees from kauri dieback disease.
In this story, the characters place a rāhui on their strawberry patch. I like it because it reminds me of our connection to nature and of our school value of Kaitiakitanga.
There are some questions and activities you to complete too. Remember to send through any work you are proud of.
